WOW...
While I was out, I did some shopping....bought some October Afternoon, some Graphic 45, picked up a Sew Easy storage unit, some Bo Bunny, some Basic Grey, and got some stuff at Fry's Electronics too....can we say XOOM!! ;) Yup, you guessed it, we are now tablet-enabled in our household. YAY!!
What does that mean, well, it means that we'll be taking pictures of our upcoming vacation, while literally on the road, and uploading, to keep everyone in the loop on our little Disney vacation.
In the meantime, we'll be busy learning the Android OS, and figuring out what is and isn't available in the Google Store, in terms of Apps....yes, I'm looking for scrapbooking apps, as well as Disney apps. So if you know of any, shoot me an email. :)
Until next time, I hope you have a RIPArts kind of day!!
Oh boy...it's almost time...
I'm am thinking of Disney...in terms of layouts....Disney layouts of course.....so that am I getting at already? Well, I'm working on some Disney layout and Disney inspired layouts for some upcoming classes. I'll be using some of your favorites, as well as some characters that aren't necessarily the first to come to mind when you think of Disney. These layouts will be useable by those who visit WDW or DL.
So, if I'm a little quiet here for the next few weeks, you'll know why.....I'm busy creating... ;)
But do check back soon for some sneak peeks....
Until then, I hope you have a RIPArts kind of day!!

I don't want to grow up...
And yes, it's almost time for our pilgrimage to the "World". This time, we're taking along a friend. We're excited for her, and we hope she's looking forward to it as much as we are. We've planning on being there in time for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, AND the International Food & Wine Festival. We hope to be able to fit in a day at Universal, so we can check out the Harry Potter Adventure. Time will tell is that is going to "pan out".
Speaking of Pan....I worked on this layout for a Disney swap online, and I had fun putting the "eternal boy" together after cutting him out. What do you think? Decent job?
I hope that as you begin to enjoy your Summer, whether alone, with a loved one, or with kids or grandkids, that you take time to let your "inner child" come out and play. I'm sure you'll discover that s/he will be thrilled to be out and having fun!!
Until next time, I hope you have a RIPArts kind of day!!
June TBC Kit
I still maintain that if you haven't checked out the Treasure Box Club kits, then you're doing yourself a disservice. The kits are well put together, the colors are wonderful, and the kits are full of embellishments. You can also purchase "add ons" if you'd like, each month. The value for wonderful, and I really don't think you'll be disappointed.
Until next time, I hope you have a RIPArts kind of day!!

Time for updates...
First up, I have a private class this evening at The Crafty Neighbor. The class involves learning how to use COPIC markers. So it's a basic class, but I'm excited, because new folks will be learning how to color, like in their younger days....here's a sample of one of the cards we will be coloring tonight.
Next up, I have a COPIC II class at The Crafty Scrapper in Waxahachie, where I'll be using the Loralie Designs stamps to teach Hair & Skin tones. This has been a great bunch of ladies that I've been teaching, so I'm looking forward to seeing them again. See a sample below...
I'm also working on the June kit from The Treasure Box Club. What a FUN Travel kit. LOVE the papers in this kit, and can't wait to unveil my layouts. I highly recommend checking out the TBC website for ordering details.
I'm also finishing up a Disney swap that I'm involved in (ongoing), and developing more classes for Personal Scrapbook. I'm soooo excited, and super busy as you can tell.
While I'm working on all of this, we're also knee deep in preparations for our Halloween trip to Walt Disney World. YAY!! Can't wait to get back with all the pics so I can work up more projects.
On a final note, I'm happy to report that Ted, the owner of Stampers Anonymous saw my Honeycomb Paper card (paper by Inky Antics), was "inspired" by my use of the Tim Holtz Dress Form card that I made, and made one of his own....if you'd like to see his interpretation, you can check it out on their blog at: http://inkyanticsrubberstamps.blogspot.com/ Just scroll down to his entry.
Whew...lots to update....so, until next time, I hope you have a RIPArts kind of day!!
